The desert is heating up. The dates are out, the battlelines are drawn, and it’s time you put your travel and cheering plans in place. The ILT20 schedule for the second season is out, and we really cannot keep calm. 

While the tournament kicks off in Sharjah on January 19, 2024 (Friday), MI Emirates play their first game the following day, on January 20 against Dubai Capitals in their territory. But we head home, to the Sheikh Zayed International Stadium in Abu Dhabi- the very next day to take on the defending champions, Gulf Giants, in a mouth-watering clash. 

Much like last year, the tournament would be played in a home and away format, with each team playing the other twice in the league that would run until February 13. This would be followed by the play-offs, with the final set to be held in Dubai on the following Saturday (February 17). 

After the super success at the MLC with MI New York, the deadly trio of Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran and Trent Boult is all set to bring the hurricane across the Pacific into the Arabian Sea.
