Najibullah Zadran, the diminutive basher, has risen up through Afghanistan’s age-group cricket scene to his current position of being the vice-captain of the Afghanistan T20I side. He started off in the under-19 side in 2011, led the under-23 Afghanistan side to victory in the Asia Cup in 2018, and ever since, has been the fulcrum around whom the middle-order revolves.
