The Chennai-born, Dubai-educated Vriitya Aravind made his international cricket debut at 17 years of age, even before playing the under-19 World Cup. 2022 was a standout year for him where he cemented the number three spot, and smashed four fifties and two centuries in ODIs, including a 76-ball knock of 115 against Namibia. In T20Is as well, he bagged the Player of the Series award at the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers, with 267 runs in the tournament. With his raw firepower and the knowledge of the conditions, he adds the perfect youth flavour to our squad.
