Profile

Ambidextrous. Cricket's latest sensation, Kamindu Mendis first caught the cricket world's attention at the 2016 under-19 World Cup, thanks to his ability to bowl both left-arm orthodox spin and right-arm off-spin.

He was a prodigy in Sri Lanka's cricketing circles, rising up the ranks quickly and making his international debut at the age of just 20. Known for his attacking brand of batting in the middle-order and the ability to switch seamlessly between hands while bowling, he's all set to be a mainstay in our lineup. Oh, and let's not forget his gun fielding abilities; he's coming fresh off having won the 2025 Catch of the Season award at the IPL.

Welcome to the Blue and Gold, Kamindu!
