Our Guyaneese giant comes in with an equally huge reputation of being the perfect all-rounder – someone who can be called upon to bowl in any situation thanks to the entire armoury of tricks and variations he has up his sleeve, and someone who can be trusted to finish an innings, thanks to the massive hits he can unleash.
Having made his domestic debut for Guyana in the Regional Super50 competition in 2016, he impressed immediately on debut, and climbed up the priority charts quickly. A CPL deal with the Guyana Amazon Warriors soon followed, and so did a national call-up for the West Indies in 2018. He boasts of super-impressive numbers in the T20 circuit, and is coming in on the back of a rich run of form.
After Mumbai Indians and MI New York, Romario is all set to ply his trade in the desert, and as he’s done all around, set it on fire.
