Zahoor Khan: Well, first things first, he’s no newcomer. A veteran pacer and an MI Emirates pro over the last two seasons, he returns to the Blue and Gold, where he’s had many fond memories of bowling the tough overs and winning games for us. This Faisalabad-born, experienced warhorse has a bunch of tricks under his sleeve, and in 2017, bagged a haul of 6/34 in an ODI – the best bowling figures by an Emirati bowler. 

Aryan Lakra: UAE’s captain at the 2020 under-19 World Cup, he’s been earmarked as the future of UAE cricket. Born in Haryana, India, this spin-bowling all-rounder has made waves in the recent ILT20 Development Programme, marking a steady rise in his stocks. With the likes of Nicholas Pooran and Kieron Pollard by his side, he’s all set for a steep learning curve!
